Gas Services

Gas is the traditional fuel used in Canal Boats and Taylors of Fenny operate a Gas Equipment maintenance service. We are Gas Safe registered engineers so we will check all your gas appliances on board to ensure that they are safe to use and meet all safety criteria. We can check that your onboard appliances are room sealed and that they are equipped with flame failure devices.

We can also ensure that your gas storage lockers meet the EU recreational craft directive and we can advise on the best type of gas, either Propane (Orange Bottles) or Butane (Blue Bottles) for your use.
